The thing is, I don't remember what it's like to take care of less than 4 rabbits at a time, as Ive had at least 4 since 2007 😅 Caretaking of them all has been part of my routine since, albeit the things i do for them has changed with how I house them. I clean their compound up once a week and
forage greens from the field every day, every day, regardless of weather, so sometimes it can be quite strenuous especially when its very cold or even snowy, but they repay my efforts with how happy forage and a clean toilet makes them 😂 In addition to that I tend to the garden to keep it
constantly interesting and entertaining for them, but I honestly like doing it so it doesn't feel like a waste of time either. The videos i manage to capture of them are honestly just an added bonus 🥰
That sounds like very hard work! They're very lucky to have such a dedicated owner. I've heard rabbits require a lot of grooming as well but I expect with four of them they can all look after each other?
It really depends on the breed, but generally short(er) haired ones can look after themselves and eahc other well enough. It's the angoras and escalated Lionheads that need some extra care. Dottie is borderline there and needs the ocasional haircut so she can actually see where she's going 😅
