In landscape orientation the headers and footers are replaced by a sidebar. Images should scale to fit on your screen.
If you do not want the sidebar you can disable it in settings.
You can also hide verification badges.

Links to Bluesky posts, profiles, lists on a web site will open the Bluesky web or mobile app.
Now you can change it to open Skywalker if you want. Enable opening of links in the Android app settings.
