Shrimp + polenta for breakfast. Was craving shrimp and grits and closest I could find was coarsely ground cornmeal. I’d normally use fish stock in the polenta but I kept it more neutral because tomorrow I plan on heating that shit up and throwing a huge spoon of grape jelly + butter on it 😈🍽️

Making Picadillo ☺️ trying a scaled down recipe of tortillas so I make enough for the week vs the usual 3 billion. I have been in London for 4 months and today was the first day I found fresh jalapeños for sale. I’ve seriously looked everywhere and at one point debated just buying them online 😭🍽️

Last food post today and I'll stop I swear. I made this Portokalópita for a dinner party tonight but my friends got sick. So it's staying home with me. Dried phyllo base and the syrup I made has two whole boiled and blended oranges including peel. It's the juiciest cake on earth I s2g. 🇬🇷🍊🍽️
