Brand new 4K disc was so scratched that I’m putting the Blu-ray in instead. I love @criterion.bsky.social, but this is the second time this has happened. I bought this at Barnes and Noble a while back so there’s no chance can return or exchange.🙄

Unfortunately, I understand this joke.

The "Boar on the Floor" scene from "Succession" dramatically underplayed the degree to which powerful people will debase themselves in order to curry favor with more powerful people.

This happened to THIRD GRADERS. This is 20 minutes from my house.

Born to form a union and join a communist revolution, forced to lib out with the only two trump haters at my job.

Posting about my lack of enthusiasm for Zack Snyder’s new project over on Vero feels like what I imagine it would feel like to go back to my old church wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt.

THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME, a film by Wes Anderson.   Only in theaters May 30. youtu.be/GEuMnPl2WI4?...

Finished. Loved it.

Welp. There was a power outage before I could finish this. I was really enjoying it too.

I’m all for these anti-trump protests, but I’m not enthusiastic enough about America as a country to agree with the pro-America message. But again, I’m all for this massive demonstration. The real power is the people.

“You are not responsible for your parents’ emotional wellbeing.” Okay got it. Really needed to hear that. Now who’s going to tell my parents? #exvangelical.

How the fuck did the King of Kings movie from right-wing conservative Christian production company Angel Studios get so many A-list actors? Oscar Isaac, Kenneth Branagh, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Mark Hamill, Forest Whitaker, and Ben Kingsley are all in it. Did no one look at who is producing it?

Started Seth Rogan’s #TheStudio. It’s a soft sequel to Robert Altman’s 1992 film The Player that satirizes the modern film industry. I get the feeling that the gags are more true-to-life than one might think. Painfully funny.

Superman discourse over on Threads is right back to where it was on Twitter for the last decade.🙄 I really fucking hate Fandom™️

Idk man I get the whole leftist frustration with how performative liberals are, but doing nothing but complaining about it is equally performative and useless.

Damn. RIP

My family watched Wicked in the theater and THREE times at home since the home release. This movie is already a classic. #filmsky

I went two weeks trying to count calories and eat less. Today I gave myself a splitting headache due to lack of food so tonight I said fuck it and ate frozen pizza and candy.

Everyone is fighting about whether Snow White bombed because of Rachel Zegler or Gal Gadot. Is it controversial to say that neither of them are the reason? I seriously doubt most people know or care about their “political” statements. Movies bomb all the time.🤷‍♂️

Yes, Signalgate is fucking hilarious, but what’s terrifying is how so many people are more concerned about the war plans than the fact that our government is fucking bombing people.
