Mostly thinking about horror movies, books, music, poetry, weightlifting, and arts in general. I did my MA in Cultural Studies. Focused mainly on film and theater history/theory, North American cultural history, etc. https://boxd.it/1AHhw 🇫🇮

Day 18 of this challenge: Your guilty pleasure film. Ok. Here's a secret that nobody knows yet. It's For Love of the Game. I watch it a few times a year.

I decided to have a super chill Saturday because I have been so tired in the last few days. Nothing but laying around, horror movies, takeout, and in the evening drinking.🍸 Sometimes, it's the best thing one can do to oneself. Take a total 'me day'.

This was the third witchy movie for today and this is a short summary of the many thoughts that I am having after watching it. #horrorsky #horrormovies boxd.it/8V04EL

Ordered some super hot vindaloo and am going to check a third witchy movie of the day. At least, that's my assumption. I don't want to read too much beforehand. #horrorsky boxd.it/AdVg

The first witchy film of the weekend was Hellbender. Some real artistry there with all the visuals, songs, and poetry. Zelda Adams was really good. There's some hiccups with some of the acting and a few rough edges. But it had its own unique vibes which is always good. #horrorsky boxd.it/w1Im

Day 17 of this challenge: A film you like from the 1990s. Let's say Audition, which is one of the best horror movies of that decade. #horrorsky boxd.it/1UHm

Finally, home. Hot rum toti and double espresso. If this doesn't get the motor running, nothing will. 😅

Listening The Stand audio book made me think that I actually liked the newest series quite a lot. I probably should rewatch it. #horrorseries #horrorsky boxd.it/rHIe

I started this. I haven't read it in years. It has probably the best character writing that I know of. I remember finding it on paperback from a flea market when I was 12 or so and couldn't put it down. I read it late in the night each night until it was over. #horror #horrorbooks

Maybe I should do a small, witchy horror weekend. Couple of older like Eastwick, Craft and something new that I haven't seen.

Rough few days 💤☕️. Yesterday was pretty much all about going on automatic. Well, it's finally Friday. Lifting, work, and trying to rest a bit more. Just need to prepare a weekend watchlist.

Day 16 of this challenge: A film that makes you cry. My Girl. Always has and still does.

Day 15 of this challenge: Your favorite family film. I skipped fourteen because that has never happened. But for the favorite family film, I probably have to go with Beetlejuice

I just realized that there's about a half dozen Carpenter films that I haven't seen. I should remedy that as soon as possible. Might as well throw in rewatches of the ones that I haven't seen in ages.

Morning. ☕️ I am quite tired. 😂 Well, can't be helped. it's lifting time, anyways. Maybe I'll sleep better tonight. I am a bit embarrassed. I was a bit of a douche towards my wife yesterday evening. 😅 I need to apologize later when she's up.

Day 13 of this challenge: A film you've always wanted to watch but haven't yet. There's so many films that would qualify for this. But one that I have pushed ahead for years that I should just sit down and watch is The Prowler. #horrorsky

This was briefly mentioned in a podcast that I am listening to, and I am thinking that it's pretty nuts that it had better practical effects than many "real" horror movies at the time. #horrorsky boxd.it/1gGS

I started thinking that I should rewatch The Witches of Eastwick. boxd.it/2272 I haven't seen it in ages. I remember it being really freaky. #horrorsky

I feel like I could use an Al Bundy vacation. Except not from my wife but in general and with horror movies. 😂 youtu.be/YfhkQEr2wJo?...

Day 12 of this challenge: A film you know almost word for word. This is an easy answer. Dracula 1931

I have been compiling and rating all the horror movies that I have seen. It's probably still only a fraction of the films that I have actually seen, but the list has 1250 titles atm. For me, ** is base level, *** is really good and so on. Its a living and changing list. #horrorsky boxd.it/1AHhw
