The judges need to grow a pair.

It makes complete sense they'd be suspicious of Trump's spy machine. He wants to be like Putin, so why wouldn't they? The really surprising thing is that they want to deny it, pretend they're not doing it in order to avoid pissing him off. I think they'll get over that illusion pretty quick.

The writer attempts to take the temperature of Musk's competitors, given his increased power since Trump 2.0 but mostly they just waffle because... well, Musk. Plus, still hoping to pick up the crumbs that fall off the table, perhaps. #srf

Strange All my life, when someone said, "in the free world" it not only included America, the US was always, rhetorically at least, somewhere near the center of it. Even after the fall of the Soviet Union, the phrase still resonated. Now... I can't imagine someone even saying that. So last century.

Well written, lays out the future for Bluesky and ATproto more clearly than anything I’ve read. Yes, Bsky Co will dominate, but there will always be a credible exit. That is the key. You could take your graph and go. But you’ll stay. Because you want to. Not because you have to.

As the US begins its long slow decline toward the neo-Medieval, the EU has a golden opportunity to assume a global leadership role in science and tech R&D. This is a great example of how government € support leads the way.

Grift. Pure and simple. Always admired the man for having had the ability to break dinosaur industries that had death-grip moats preventing competition (banking, auto, space.) Apparently, he has been turning those same super powers toward the dark side, incrementally, for years. Explains so much.

On January 23, 2016, during a campaign rally at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa,Trump stated: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK? It’s, like, incredible.” Democracy had already died. He knew. We were just still in denial.

Another one bits the dust... marketing firm finds X api fees too high, switches to Bluesky #bskynews

Musk says "I agree" to Dorsey's "Delete all IP law" on X yesterday. But just last year, Musk's Tesla sued a competitor, Matthews International for $1B over battery patent infringement. The case is still pending. SpaceX has done similar.
