Brunch with friends today. I made sweet potato biscuits and gravy and cheesy scrambled eggs. Partner made three different kinds of bacon (candied, peppered and regular). Friends brought potatoes and fruit salad. I also made the sourdough bunnies. And mimosas and espresso martinis 🍽️🍸🍹🥓

Felt like some curry since it was a sloppy, wet spring snowy day. Also had a craving for kimchi so made an Indian-inspired swordfish curry and some kimchi fried rice on the side. Didn't think they'd go together so had basmati rice at first. I was mistaken. Mixing them was SO GOOD!🍽️

Sourdough discard bagels 🥯 - plain and everything. Delicious and nutritious! Used half whole wheat flour and added flax seeds for some extra fiber and omega 3s, and 13g of protein in each bagel. They were so good I ate one of the plain ones straight out of the oven with peanut butter 🤤 🍽️

My 3,726th try and I think I finally got this sourdough thing! Besides that one big hole, it had a pretty decent crumb. And it was delicious! (I used a little whole wheat flour which is why it’s a bit darker) 🥖🍽️
