Everybody dies. And that’s fucked up, even when the scenario itself is funny as Hell. But that’s life, and we can’t stop that. So why not dance while we’re still here?

Whole Lotta Letterboxd.

About to watch, in IMAX, my (totally not biased) pick for Top 5 of the year in less than three hours.

Hiding ain’t living.

🎵This is Malaysia Tom to Ground Control, I’m stepping through the door🎵 🎵And I’m floating in the most peculiar way🎵 🎵For these last six months felt different, todaaaaaaaaay*🎵

APPARENTLY THE 4K FOR GLADIIATOR DOESN’T HAVE ANY AUDIO COMMENTARIES. FUCK EVERYTHING.

“I was just having the most wonderful dream.” I mean if I was the boyfriend of Sophie or Jack I’d also still think that even after 20 months. boxd.it/8GbY7b

Before the Zhou dynasty, Magic was a weapon… Adventure was everywhere… Love was a mystery… And Sony still didn’t have any fucking console exclusives. boxd.it/8FzZVl

The Democrats claiming victory for something the public actually accomplished despite them is a joke

Just a few more years, people! Come on!

“You wonder where they are, and you wonder what it’d be like if you were there too.” #NowSeated with mom and dad for Presence in, to my dismay, Dolby.

Good lord just take me. #NowEating:

Visiting my grandpa’s home. #nw in IMAX with my family:

Heading off to the World Diamond Center rn. There’s a weird truck parked over on the side though, idk why. #nw in (to my dismay) Dolby with dad:

Watching Den of Thieves 2 in less than 15 so that I can focus on anything except what’s happening rn.

Hollywood tech-bros — who will double down on A.I. — in response to the L.A. wildfires:

Holy fucking Jesus bro. #NowEating for Dessert:

There are still tears in my eyes. Funny how a musical biopic (set in the UK btw!) about a guy that no one here has heard of until now has more visual flair than one of the most anticipated musical adaptations. Best musical, and arguably one of the best movies, of ‘24. 10/10.

Mmmmmm… monke. #nw:

Can’t believe they made an entire movie based off an entire Roblox test account.

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, “The world is a fine place, and worth watching movies at.” I agree with the second part. Still holds up even after 30 years. David Fincher the legend that you are. 10/10.

Got some weird fan mail tonight. Didn’t even realize I had fans. #NRW in IMAX with dad:

"No matter what the others try and sell you, it is the destination, not the journey.” More and more people need to watch this the absolute SECOND their theater plays it. Top 5 of ‘24 and I’m dead fucking serious. 10/10.

Tried Mexican Hot Chocolate again today.

🎵Hey, Mr. Letterboxd Man, rewatch a film for me🎵 🎵I'm not sleepy and there is no theater I'm going to🎵 🎵Hey, Mr. Letterboxd Man, rewatch a film for me🎵 🎵In the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you🎵

“Don’t ask for the moon, we have a stars.” Just as good, if not even better, with a full crowd. Would not be mad in the slightest if Mangold wins the Oscars. Still 9/10 but I’m tempted to bump it up to a 10/10, ngl.

Anyways I’m back in the IMAX theater for A Complete Unknown. Previews haven’t begun yet and it’s already more packed than Mufasa.

Just in time for the holiday season, Disney brings to us an epic blockbuster that centers itself around family, courage, and destiny, in addition to a visually gorgeous color pallet. That movie was called The Rise of Skywalker. But Mufasa was also pretty good, ngl.

Maybe Belle was onto something. Unsurprisingly Barry Jenkins’ weakest, but also unsurprisingly leaps and bounds better than the ‘19 remake even though the bar wasn’t high anyway. Btw the 3D was genuinely fucking great. Will talk a little more about that on LB. Bob Dylan in IMAX is next. 7/10.

Belle surprisingly thought this film was good, we’ll see. #nw in IMAX 3D:

Guess who got a nosebleed 13 minutes ago! Totally not me, no sir.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAROBERTEGGERSIFUCKINGLOVEYOUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATOPTWOMOVIEOFTHEFUCKINGYEARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 10/10.

Heard from some of y’all that this guy’s great at parties. We’ll see. #nw in IMAX:

Saw that IMAX Melbourne was bringing back the Film Festival and HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT.

Every holiday season, millions travel safely by air. This Christmas was no different.

Come filmgoers and critics, who prophesied with your pen. And keep your eyes (and ears) wide, for the chance won’t come again.

At a Christmas reunion with my family tree rn and they’re watching Carry-On.

Merry Christmas! As my present to you, you get to step into my Chinese knockoff of a Criterion closet and question if I actually exist in the real world.

Last minute engagement bait.

Treating myself to a sticky bun and Fruity Pebbles for Christmas Eve breakfast today.
