Saturday, REVOLUTION ANNIVERSARY

#WindowsonWednesday #photography Grand Canyon Visitor Center, South Rim What a view, it would be hard for me to work in this room. #nationalparks #arizona

Mohave Point, Grand Canyon On a late April afternoon I happened upon a painter enjoying the scenery and the weather. I can tell you what I saw on canvass was as impressive as any photo and had more warmth. #photography #arizona #nationalparks

I spent a week at the Tokyo Hilton in 2015. As I explored Shinjuku I noticed the iron utility covers in the street and walks had inlays and stamps - at that time I did not know this was a cherry blossom. Our blossoms are gone today, but this one stayed with me. #photography #tokyo #japan

Trumpism is not just authoritarian, it is totalitarian in the literal sense that it tolerates no institutions in society, no aspect of people's lives, outside their agenda of political coercion. Even trying to be neutral is unacceptable. Anything they don't dominate and control must be destroyed.

#ThickTrunkTuesday #Trees Returning to the top of the Bright Angel Trail, Grand Canyon #NationalParks. This pine seemed fine just bent we went. #photography #arizona #dirtroadphotography

Amazing rally at the huntsman center at the U of U with @sanders.senate.gov and @aoc.bsky.social and 20,000 Utahns. Thanks for stopping by and inspiring us all to beat the #oligarchy

"This is our worst fear coming true...that you’re going to lose very knowledgeable people who know how to protect natural and cultural resources.”

#BlueSkyMonday It's all up from here, 282 feet below sea level Death Valley #NationalParks at the end of June one year. What my camera wasn't catching was a shimmer in the distance, and later in the day temps hitting 118 F. #photography #california #dirtroadphotography

#shotsinslots #Stunday #SaveOurPublicLands #photography June of 2015, another side canyon from the Burr Trail Road, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, #Utah This particular canyon was only a quarter mile long, but a pleasant walk in the shade. #dirtroadphotography
