A little spinner prop for #SpinnerSaturday #TeamHighWing

A CAVU day or over Lake Arrowhead in NW GA. #WingFriday

For #SkyHawkSunday a nice shot of my SkyHawk by a local photographer, who I let use it as a setting for pics with her own young boys. They were quiet while here but she said they couldn't stop talking about the airplane during lunch. 😁

#WingFriday got up in the #RV14 for some slow flight, stalls and engine out spot 180 practice. Always fun and challenging. Stay sharp on your emergency procedures so if you ever need them their 2nd nature. 👍

#WingViewWednesday The winding Etowah River in NW GA. She's looking a little low but the incoming rain should help fill up her banks.

With all the depressing political news, needed something to smile about this weekend, so got up both days. Nothing better than some flight time in this kind of weather! #FlightDeckMonday

#SkyhawkSunday Got up and practiced a bunch of engine out spot landings. Always love challenging myself and staying sharp on emergency procedures... practice makes perfect. And if you ever need that skill you want to to be perfect!😉

Spun the spinner for #SpinnerSaturday. Cloudy, foggy morning gave way to a nice warm afternoon although haze layer below 4000MSL. Was bumpy below and smooth above.

Some #TeamHighWing with those wonderful barn doors out (especially for you @adh67.bsky.social ) for #FlightDeckMonday

Got up again this morning but didn't get a pic, so here's a pic from yesterday's flight for #SkyhawkSunday

Severe clear (and cold) up there this morning, but was able to spin the spinner for #SpinnerSaturday

For #WingFriday, I got in some night flying. Love the stunning views and quiet skies #TeamHighWing

Had this #SkyhawkSunday visitor this afternoon, stalking our bird feeder for a meal...

Some gorgeous views this morning for #SkyhawkSunday. Still some ice and snow in the mountains and in north western Georgia

The trusty old DJI Phantom still took a charge and after 10 min of recalibration, actually got it to launch. The snowy neighborhood from about 100'

So humbled to be able to participate in this important research evaluating wheelchairs against FAA static and dynamic test requirements. Ensuring safe accessible aircraft for all passengers. deepblue.lib.umich.edu/handle/2027....

Skies were generally clear over the holidays but as usual here in NW GA in the winter, when it's clear out, the winds can get pretty gusty. Mother nature made me work for this one.... #FlightDeckMonday #TeamHighWing

#WingFriday with my youngest and her best friend. Was a bit breezy at altitude (up to 43kts) and gusty on approach back home around mid-day. Girls called it a 2 for 1. "it was both an plane and a roller coaster ride" 🤣🤣🎢

First flight of 2025 in the books. Cool and gusty down low. Had to work for those landings. 😉
