The Atlanta tracker is predicting GDP growth of -2.8% in Q1. S&P, which I generally trust a lot, is at 1.6%. Goldman is also at 1.6%. Atlanta likely wrong. And regardless doesn't say what you think it does. So continue your deep breathing.

On the subject of homelessness, KC announced this week that they'll be funding 160 year-round emergency shelter beds. In 2024, the KC/Jackson County/Wyandotte CoC found 876 unsheltered folks. 160 more beds isn't gonna get us all the way there but it's a significant move mailchi.mp/kcmo/kansas-...
