Long list, as expected. The only other similar article is "List of nicknames used by George W. Bush", and they are arguably more tasteful. All other presidents in world history were/are adults.

This is at a NATO meeting. It feels like giving the mic to a 5 year old. It's so cringe to hear and watch him that I'm ashamed for his lack of shame. America, please take him back home as soon as possible because Europe has heard enough. Leave the talking to the adults.

"The United States is like the Titanic. Too big to turn, too slow to react, in denial about sinking, there aren't enough lifeboats for every passenger except the 1% ultra rich, and the orchestra keeps playing as if nothing is happening."

Q: "What about ending the war in Ukraine in 24h?" Trump: "Oh, Iran, Israel, Rwanda, Congo, Serbia, India and Pakistan, you know" God, I wish European reporters did their jobs and fried him more.

Ahhhhh, 2025

Why does every election anywhere in the world (in which I don't even have any skin in the game whatsoever) now feels like reading Lord of the Flies again?

Watched the Minecraft movie. I felt the need to see stupid garbage, but didn't expect the bar to be that low. If you're an adult and you're review is "Chicken jockey, five stars", you're not a functional adult.

Yes, yes, it's Monday. But I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the #1 coping mechanism in the eastern-european culture: "It is what it is..."

I'm sure a US congressional hearing will also follow and all will be fine again. Maybe we should have those in Europe too, I hear they're very efficient.

Funny but not funny.

"Copilot". Cool name choice, Microsoft. About it's reliability, though. Alright, let's think about it this way. You're an airline pilot. All your flight instruments (altimeter, heading, etc), even your home alarm clock, are correct and precise 95% of the time. Would you still hop in that cockpit?

The way Copilot in VSCode parts lines of code like Moses parting water of the Red Sea in order to insert a faded block of 2 nested "for" loops guesswork code that it *thinks* you need... So distracting. I cannot hit Escape quick enough. Ugh.

Do it now! Oh, and I recommend Aegis instead of the more popular Google Authenticator. OTPs are just standardized HMAC algorithms, no company has monopoly over them.

I've tried Copilot in agent mode. And coding with it feels like coding with a project manager that is clueless about programming, looking over your shoulder and dictating gibberish hoping some of it will stick.

Besides the legal and moral issues, GenAI sucks the joy out of creating art, out of enjoying art, and out of coding. DeviantArt looks lifeless lately. This is just my opinion. I hear an "ok boomer", and I'm fine with that.

This is the smartest damn thing I’ve heard all year. If nothing else, it might serve to erode employers‘ trust in ChatGPT.

USA still in a retrograde motion.

I suspect that fact that the vast majority of LLM users don’t seem to have received this (really very simple!) message is because the AI companies have a vested interest in us not understanding it. “ChatGPT is smart, it just makes mistakes sometimes” is much more marketable than the truth.
