Yup. Adversarial noise in sound form. It's not something new as he said, but they are looking into making it more effective. It's also scary that it's possible as you basically can circumvent voice recognition etc.

Like, my students need access to these papers, and cannot get them, because LLM scraper bots keep tanking the damn site. Fucking quit it.

Hey Dr. Damien, I wholeheartedly agree. I've been collecting a thread on here of examples like your own. Recently Wikipedia wrote that they had a 50% surcharge due to bots scraping their wikimedia. The thread links to different articles about and by FOSS websites, independent developers etc.

Jo det er det Sheila. Og vi har samarbejde med Palantir og andre knapt så heldige typer. Og regeringen er ved at få en lov der tillader masseovervågning af borgere igennem.

That's true. He has kind of put in the corner, so who knows. Might be coming up.

He won't. Trump made a special billionaire Gold card that oligarchs can buy. The US is now a really poorly managed Mar-A-Lago.

Elon doesn't believe in Alpha and Beta testing. So what if the system breaks upon roll-out. Quality assurance who is she? Never knew her.

Is is really that surprising when every single website that has allowed AI generation to take over has this experience? Whether it being forums, online markets, publishers etc. Even the ones that don't invite it have their inboxes flooded with attempts as it's so low effort now to do.

You too and again sorry.

Okay. Then I'll admit I'm the idiot here. My apologies.

Ghibli is a multi-million company based on putting out a genuinely great product people love crafted by human hands. MS is one of the biggest most influential companies in the world that is trying to subvert other companies income into their own. A trillion dollar company lobbying to do that.

You should be too honestly.

Congratulations, you made an assessment on your own. You are on your first step to being rehabilitated. There is hope for you yet.

No, but you seemed like you need someone to explain basic stuff to you. It's okay, I know passing on any sense of critical thought to a machine might have that affect. There, there.

And those others are not. They are multi billion companies who stole from the company whose workers made those properties. There you go I spoon fed it to you like the AI would have.

Bad taste perhaps?

Libreoffice is the succesor of OpenOffice, so it should be easy to get started with. :)

Yes, they gave up. They don't intend for their website to be used by humans in the future. Just bot spamming generative AI images and text at one another and a confused grandma or two posting minion memes at their pretend grandchildren. Bots will also be maintaining the code ofc. Humans not needed.

I enjoy your interpretation of a classic.

People who claim these things have not looked at Elon's background whatsoever either. You don't have to grow up to be a terrible person, because your parents or grandparents were so. But when your heritage is Nazis, Apartheid and Tech fascism there might be something there.

Ask yourself this. Do you trust Microsoft as a company to have your best interest when they've repeatedly tried to launch this feature and had to pull it because it was proven to have major flaws.

Microsoft says that the screenshots stay in your computer, but Microsoft says a whole lot of things that turned out not to be true in the past. And even if they might be true now, how long till they make it part of their excessive telemetry aka phone home procedures? Just a fun thought experiment.

latest forced update to Microsoft 365+ (... why is this SaaS?!), now Copilot something, and price hike you HAVE TO be connected to the internet to use it. 😂 Deleted that slop immediately and installed @libreoffice.bsky.social instead.

Because everyone loves owning a computer that sends you more notifications than your cellphone, randomly restarts or forces your out of your program while gaming. I tried to turn off as much telemetry as I possibly could, but it never got as good as I have it now. I also found out that with the-

Well, yes, but it's actually a story. :) Told by the man I quoted. When he left Twitter he designated it a Nazi bar too. See link below to the post.
