I guess I’m a real Hong Konger because I can glance at this photo and know exactly what time of year it was taken. HK’s white winter light, tinged with sea reflections and spilling through narrow streets, is like no other in the world.

I wish it was possible as an adult to experience the simple joy a child experiences with a plate of animal crackers. My cynical and jaded soul just sees novelty food. But to my kids, the crackers offer an infinite world of whimsy and narratives to go with their snack.

If you're a dude with some spare cash, you owe it to yourself to get at least one jacket tailored to your dimensions. Like, Men's Warehouse will take shit in for you. And it looks so much better than straight off the rack. A Brown jacket goes with blue jeans and Khakis.

Last week i: 1. Met with the structural engineer to figure out how to fix my foundation. 2. Had a productive meeting with Mega Tech Company. 3. Cooked my kids meals they didn't eat. 4. Played MTG with my family. 5. Told my children I loved and was proud of them no matter what. Solid week that.
