People saying stand down over the 14th Amendment section 3 bar of Trump are missing the point. Yes, the effort won't get the votes needed BUT that doesn't mean Democrats should "obey in advance." Raise the issue in the media, in Congress etc. Trump engaged in an insurrection. He is barred. Period.
