Wanted something cozy for dinner. Threw together a pasta sauce with tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, & onions. Let it simmer for a few hours, then added red pepper flake, a touch of cream & pasta water. Topped with parm and a fancy olive oil from Italy. Perfect for a cold evening. #cooking

It seems my “ignore everything in the world & watch competition food shows forever on end” isn’t going away soon. My “to watch” list is only growing. I’m currently watching Out Chef’d on Food Network. I’m digging it. I like Eddie Jackson as a host… not loud and obnoxious and has good energy.

I’ve watched ZERO news since the election & it’s been a life saver. I’m so grateful I live in the woods & can tune out as much as I want to. I’m practically a recluse (with minor exceptions) and I’m 1000% okay with that. I absolutely hate where we are and how we got here. Stay safe out there!

Recovering from cooking all the food, eating all the food, drinking more than usual, and being the hostess w/ the mostest for 7 days. I feel like a mack truck has hit me. Thankfully, the w/e is here & I can do absolutely nothing ‘til Monday. Then, it’s back to regular scheduled programming. Whew.

Do people who smack and eat with their mouth open not realize how damn annoying they are? I’m about to jump out of my skin as we watch a movie. All I want to do is yell, “STOP SMACKING YOUR FOOD!!” It’s either that or I’m gonna go check on the chickens until they finish their snack. #Misophonia
