After making all of the machines that I have for my game, reconciling cockpit shapes/forms into the rest of the machine will never NOT be difficult to make look natural. Every now and then it happens instantly, but for the most part getting a cockpit to flow with the rest of the shape is IMPOSSIBLE.

One of my favorite ways to play Aero GPX is to just load up practice mode and enter into a zen-like state, doing lap after lap whilst trying to make as few mistakes as possible and go as fast as my game allows me. I would love to add a combo/points mode of some sort at some point....!
