The only way you’re going to sell Me on proportional representation is if you abolish the senate, & make that new chamber a multi party chamber. Most of democracy critiques are a result of broken rules like the apportionment act. Having people tied to specific geographies helps if proportional.

Normally if someone tries to kill a governor, the president is briefed, calls the governor, and issues a statement committing resources to bringing perps to justice. It’s not just that we don’t expect Trump to be kind—we have to wonder if he’ll allow a real investigation at all.
