I wrote sort of a sequel to my last post on creating a Vite react app. This time adding Tailwind! aaronmccollum.blogspot.com/2025/04/quic...

Deleted Reddit again. Too much negativity lately.

About a week into using @skylight.social and it's been really cool. It's very basic right now but a lot of good things are coming and I'm excited to see how it looks in a year's time. Worth checking this app out if you like Tiktok or Instagram Reels.

Excited to be virtually attending the Dallas Software Developers React mini-conference tonight! Thanks to @dthompsondev.bsky.social for hosting and putting it on Zoom for all us out-of-towners. #React #conference #coding

Trickle-down economics (savings) has been proven false time after time. The rich aren't rich because of their generosity. But trickle-down costs are very real, have always existed, and that's how the tariffs will be paid.

UConn dumpstering South Carolina twice this year. Dang.

Trying Skylight out - built on the AT Protocol, could be fun.

Leeds putting up a masterclass in how NOT to end a season. Awful. #LUFC

Lamar Jackson trying to trademark "8" feels a lot like Ohio State trying to trademark "The" lol.

"The real danger isn’t in using AI — it’s in surrendering our understanding to it." Great piece on a recent phenomenon called "Vibe coding." nmn.gl/blog/dangers... #coding #software #ai

"Hold us accountable" Haslam says. Okay man, let's hold you accountable. What consequences happen to you now, after the repeatedly terrible decisions you and Dee have made? What actual consequences will happen to you? www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/... #Browns

A random article I found on Hacker News about the impact of air filters in classrooms. www.vox.com/2020/1/8/210...

Happy opening day to the @nationals.com!

Loved this article I found on Hacker News. I've been helped by good commit messages from the past (including my own when I go back to review things!). I don't think Pega lets you write this detailed of commit messages but it's a good reminder to be serious about them. www.seyhan.me/blog/post/lo...

Unsure why but trying to get Discord.py working has been an absolute bear. Taking a break, will get back to it tomorrow.

Sweet 16 lets go #BBN

As a #NASCAR fan from the 90s, it's VERY weird to see Valvoline on the 24 car. That just...that just doesn't feel right.

It's really a shame this is what became of Twitter. I was there in the best of times and loved it. Now it's just state propaganda. And nowhere near the "everything app" that Musk wanted it to be.

All you need to know about Twitter

Seems like Haas fixed whatever problems they had in Australia. Much better showing today. #F1

RIP George Foreman, the inventor of one of the greatest culinary instruments for single men in their 20s. Gone but never forgotten sir. 🫡

Did Tesla really have a company all-hands at 9:30pm at night (ET)? Even if we go by west coast time, 6:30pm for a company all-hands meeting is wild.

Excited to be going back to PegaWorld this year!

This is big. If they can keep the D1 league going long term, this will be a great thing for US Soccer.

This is cyber 101. And there is constant training in the USG on not doing this, and instead following proper protocol.

Rest easy John Feinstein. I read several of his books in high school and enjoyed his Friday appearances with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 the fan. He will be missed. www.npr.org/2025/03/13/g...

All grad admissions offers rescinded at my institution, UMass Chan Med School. There is just no alternative. It’s a terrible loss for students. But it’s also a loss for all of science. Science *runs* on grad student labor. They get paid pennies to do highly skilled work. Science can’t function w/o

Anyone with enough power to launch a ddos attack that takes down X also knows not to do so from easily traceable computers.

Started to watch Zero Day on Netflix. Fairly dramatic, but the ending to the first episode was fantastic.

I love NASCAR, but my goodness their points system is whack these days. Was much easier to understand and follow before the playoffs era.

Ready fire aim is no way to govern.
