In my experience, real-time playback supercedes all other requests from animators. If you have a fancy feature but it impacts playback, it will be requested to be removed. Provided you aren't restricted by tech debt, a little knowledge of Maya's parallel evaluation makes hitting 24/30 FPS easy

Don't think I've ever said this outright before, but the Game UI Database is NOT driven by AI. All 60,000+ screenshots were tagged BY HAND by myself over the last four years. Every screen type, every filter - even the colours! When you're passionate about the quality of your work, you don't need AI.
