So my husband and I own a small company in PA. Our suppliers have factories around the world. Today we got a call from a supplier, breaking the news to us that our last container of inventory from the China factory now has a balance due from the tariffs. $24,000 additional, tacked on to ONE order.

Just got home from a trip to Bermuda. I’m sad to admit how “light” I felt being in another country, surrounded by friendly people who were happy to see Americans, and how I felt a bit sad coming back into NY, knowing the atmosphere here in the US was still dark & politically divided.

Is someone checking on the FAA staff that WERE on duty when the crash happened? I hope they aren’t feeling guilt for what happened when it was not their fault that their crew was down-sized beyond what was reasonable for the conditions. That job has to be immensely stressful, even on a normal day!
