Wonder why so many want the Department of Education closed. Yes, most don't understand what it does, but that aside, what do they think is bad about American public education? Curious.

The dems in congress should be working right now to take away presidential power. No, it won't pass, but they need to start pushing and implement it regardless of who's in office when they get it through. They've been feckless schmucks for years, though, so I doubt they'll do a thing.

I'm honestly starting to think that many people are becoming mentally ill due to the stress/environment in which we're living. I'm concerned that there will be a rash of suicides. These are people who feel impotent and disheartened given the state of the world. Hope I'm wrong.

Why aren't dems introducing legislation to directly target billionaires. I understand it won't pass, but they need to stand up and show that they're at least wanting to do the right thing. Instead they're reporting _bipartisan_ work on a veteran transportation bill. Sigh.
