So many thoughts today after visiting a highly selective college with our daughter that we all believe is the place for her. I know she has the stuff to be a valuable member of that learning community. I know she has the stuff to get in. The question is, will she? So many thoughts. #EduSky

Went to the laundromat this morning for blankets, left w/ powerful learning about the work needed. A woman working there also drives a school bus, doesn’t feel supported in addressing impactful student behavior. Driver shortage or not, we must support our staff, teach our students. #EduSky

Ended the week w/ a professionally nourishing post-observation follow-up w/ a teacher. Our district admin are in PD w/ a consultant to improve & calibrate feedback. I hosted a team of 7, incl our superintendent. Of all our commendations & recommendations, teacher found mine the best in a blind read.
