Oh, hey, guess what I found.

IT JUST KEEPS HAPPENING TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT HAPPEN

Greens Day

Meanwhile, on the other site, ICE is touting their mission stop "illegal ideas."

At this rate MAGA will only be able to afford to rent the libs.

Dallas has a what advisory?

I’m sure other locales have their own equivalents, but one of the things I’d miss if I moved away is the ability to respond to “I need fajitas for 20 people” with $100 and a trip to the local carnecería.

The bonkers thing is that I recall learning about the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act back in school, and thinking "you don't even need to be a macroeconomic genius to intuit that such an approach will be a disaster" and was baffled that the people in history could be so intellectually dim. "History." Sigh.

yall we can’t collectively screech that “no one’s doing anything!” and then say “no not like that” when someone actually does something. is Booker’s filibuster gonna save the world? of course not. but since courage begets courage it could lead to more. I’m fucking cynical as hell but come on.

Agreed, and the more we amplify what Booker is doing, the more we make it matter, in public perception and as an example to other elected officials. On the other hand, the more we disparage and tear it down, the more we make it not matter. It's not all up to him.

The fact that so many people have the last name “Pope” suggests it was once a much more common profession. But with automation, it can now all be done by one guy.

Well this is cool. Congrats to @murillo2000.bsky.social -- this was a lot of work to get together and out the door. :)
