You know. I think the disconnect is that Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss is created by someone who grew up in a time where fandoms would have crack ships, pwp fanfics, and when nerds didn't gaf about being "cringe". So the younger audience just...doesn't get it. I don't know how else to describe it.

People DO know that a ship doesnt have to be canon to be valid, right? Like, if the pairing doesnt end up happening in canon, it doesnt mean you cant like it anymore. Also a canon ship doesn't invalidate noncanon ships. Like, all of it can exist in fandom. Do y'all know this? #hazbinhotel
