I'm sort of playing them at random. I started OG1 (recently) so I was more versed in the subject before I was on a podcast talking about the original OG OVA. I'm working Kyosuke's route on OGs before I play OG2.

I wasn't tapped into release tracking and PVs until Z2.1. Like, I'd played aGaiden, Z, MX, and a2 at the time, but I didn't know about promo vids until Z2. Pretty much ignored handhelds/DS games until I started collecting.

If you want a harder SRW, Alpha Gaiden is fan-translated on the PS1. I'm currently playing Original Generations (where all the OG characters like Masaki, Ryusei, and Kyosuke come from). Sometime next year my friend will play 30 as his first srw also so I'll get to experience it, fresh, again.
