We're glad to see a judge has temporarily blocked attempts to make terminated pregnancy reports public. While these reports do not include patients' names, they still pose significant privacy concerns for both patients and their doctors.

TOMORROW! πŸ‘‡

We've already sued the Trump administration over their attacks on gender-affirming care and passport access for transgender people β€” and we're just getting started. Learn more on the latest episode of At Liberty.

❗You have the right to share truthful, lawfully obtained information about law enforcement and tell people about their legal rightsβ€”even if they’re in trouble.❗

We're fighting alongside our communities to protect civil rights over the next four years. We cannot let any president shock us into complacency or fear.

Another unnecessary, big government bill that, if passed into law, will increase liability for local governments and waste the time and resources of local officials and employers.

By attacking DEI programs that are aimed at addressing systemic racism, Trump has made his goals clear: He wants to take us back in time. Schools, businesses and organizations need to double down on their commitment to equal opportunity, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

Indiana State University is being sued for First Amendment violations by an LGBTQ+ group that claims the school is refusing to let them hold a Pride festival on campus.

Roses are red. ❀️ Violets are blue. πŸ’™ Defending Hoosiers' rights is what we do. πŸ’ͺ

If passed, HB 1662 would criminalize sleeping on state or local public property. This is a mandate that could worsen β€” not help β€” our homelessness crisis.

Today, House Bill 1041, which would ban transgender women from participating in college sports, passed out of committee. If it becomes law, this bill would result in harassment of women based on their appearance and send a message to transgender Hoosiers that they don't belong.

🚨 NEXT THURSDAY! Let's urge legislators to pass bills aimed at improving reproductive health in Indiana. Join us alongside @ppaaeast.bsky.social and a host of other great organizations for an impactful day at the Indiana Statehouse.

We're suing Indiana State University for blocking a Pride Festival on the campus Quad β€” a space designated for free expression. This is a clear violation of the First Amendment. ISU: We'll see you in court.

The impacts of President Trump's immigration crackdown are being felt in every corner of the country. If you or your community have been affected, we want to hear from you.

That ACLU attorney is correct.

As of today, over 1,000 Hoosiers have voiced their support for a bill to remove the "aid and abet" language from Indiana's gender-affirming care ban for minors. πŸ‘πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ 🚨 Stand up for trans youth! Help us urge Rep. Brad Barrett to give HB1444 a hearing: action.aclu.org/send-message...

Trayvon Martin should be celebrating his 30th birthday today.

πŸ“’ HOOSIERS β€” if you're protesting #KnowYourRights. ✊

⚠️ SB 10 has passed the Indiana Senate β€” a bill that, if passed, will make it harder for Hoosiers to vote.

BREAKING: We’re suing the Trump administration to block its executive order attempting to restrict access to gender-affirming care for transgender people under the age of 19 nationwide.

🚨 ACTION ALERT: Tell Indiana lawmakers to uphold religious freedom by voting 'NO' on SB 523. 🚨 ➑️ shorturl.at/X1mXR

Today, the Senate Elections Committee disenfranchised the nearly 400,000 Hoosier voters who voted more than 14 days before the general election last year by passing SB 284 6–3.

Etched on the foot of the Statue of Liberty is a poem that speaks to the heart of our nation's responsibility. The right for people to seek a better life in the United States is foundational to this great American experiment β€” and we will defend it, always.

Over 550 of you rallied at our LGBTQ+ Statehouse Day yesterday, and sent Indiana lawmakers a powerful message: we will not be erased, we will not back down, and we will not be silenced. βœŠπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

🚨 TOMORROW: Join us for our annual LGBTQ+ Statehouse Day! πŸ“Indiana Statehouse, 2nd Floor South (main level) ⏰ 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

The government has no business policing our gender or self-expression.

We know the impact of social media on the mental health of children has been profound and parents are seeking solutions. But SB 11 is NOT the way to fix this problem. ❌

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. When interacting with ICE, you have rights guaranteed by the Constitution, no matter your immigration status. ⬇️

This bill passed the Senate 44-5, but the fight isn't over.

On the campaign trail, President Trump promised to deport visa-holders that participated in pro-Palestinian protests on campus. Now, he has issued an executive order that could be used to do just that.

To our trans Hoosiers: we see you and want you here. No executive order can erase you.🩡🩷

We are disappointed that HB 1393 passed out of committee today. If passed, it would mandate that Indiana state and local law enforcement officials report anyone they arrest or cite to ICE if they think the person is in the country unlawfully.

This week, Gov. Braun issued an executive order on Indiana's near-total abortion ban and the attorney general's role in Terminated Pregnancy Reports. The law is crystal clear that these reports should be kept quiet. (1/2)
