In today's Lincoln Journal Star, our executive director writes on the rule of law, the Nebraskans who are raising their voices, and the officials who are enabling some of the current administration’s worst abuses.

If just one senator changes their vote on round three, we can stop this bill and protect the minimum wage reform that so many of us voted for. Keep contacting your senator. Tell them to respect our votes.

On Tuesday, state senators will vote on a bill that aims to end our split electoral vote system. Nebraskans overwhelmingly opposed LB 3 at its hearing because they know our current system provides a meaningful vote and a more direct say. Contact your #NEleg senator:

A few moments from this morning's debate on whether senators will respect the will of voters or undercut the minimum wage initiative. Tell your #NEleg senator NO on LB 258: action.aclu.org/send-message/ne-min-wage

Today, most of our state senators voted to ignore voters and undermine the paid sick leave reform that the vast majority of us approved just months ago. See the story for a link to the vote count and make sure your senator hears from you this weekend. #NEleg
