I personally dislike how a privileged position is conferred to social parenthood, even when decoupled from relatedness. Social-based ownership and entitlement isn't better than blood ownership and entitlement.

There’s a disturbing trend in TV & movies right now. On hospital dramas or scenes in a healthcare setting, there’s less and less masking. On crime or legal shows? Criminals are wearing KN95s. They seem to be conditioning us to accept that masking = criminals. It’ll make mask bans easier to pass

In my opinion, pressing on getting arrested is often the consequence of being too afraid of or guilty about being really disruptive and violent toward the establishment. But real change requires both sacrifices and meticulous and systematic disruption.

Arrests have a cost yall: - time in jail - bail - dealing with lawyers / courts - no contact orders - employment - travel restrictions Civil disobedience with the intention of provoking arrest has a time and a place. It's best done as part of a widespread, dedicated campaign supported by normies.

This explains too why conservatives are so preoccupied with transfemmes participating in “women's” divisions. If transfemmes weren't able to consistently outperform their cis counterparts, that would mean men's “biological” superiority is less immutable than expected.
