Now that the second gilded age is official, any good ideas for gilded age parties? I was thinking cake pops where the cake spheres were oligarch heads. Bezos would be easy. A good baking flourish would be to make them too rich to enjoy properly.

My maternal grandma lived to be 100. Her husband wasn’t so lucky. Lots of health problems at the end. However, I remember as a much younger adult watching my grandma deal with this and I now realize she’s a genius. Her tactic was just to not pay the bills.

There’s a finite chance I will lose my job due to federal budgetary decisions. If I do, I’m thinking of driving all over my state and organizing a general strike. We still have federal min. wage, complete abortion ban, no legal pot, no guaranteed sick leave. Medium sized state.
