Action Records has been established since 1979, starting off on a stall in Blackpool just as the independent music scene was emerging. From there we soon opened a site in Preston in 1981 where we have been ever since stocking a huge collection

No not there it was station road opposite south pier and it was called hoyle’s market. We did one season there and then we moved round the corner into Bond Street and market was called charisma
