I occasionally see people talking about mediums and solvents in #OilPainting. Stuff about liquin and mineral spirits, and whatnot. I always find it amusing because I really can’t relate. I’ve not used anything but linseed oil for my medium, and just I use dishwashing soap for cleaning after.

Something of a weird #language question I don’t really expect anyone to know the answer to. Is the #Latin Perfect tense basically a superset of the #Spanish Preterite? I.E are the cases where you’d use “Yo dije” where you wouldn’t use “Ego dixi”?
