People literally got mad at me when I said that I don't like using the term for myself a while back. I think everyone should use whatever terminology suits them best. "Well you're still a VTuber." Doesn't mean I have to subscribe to a label I think minimizes the scope of what I do (and is branded)

I can understand streamers not wanting to give up the "VTuber" label under the "Why should I change? It's those others who suck." principle. But the values being asked to consider and adhere to should be no-brainers for artists, streamers, creators, etc. period. VTuber, VSona or face cammer. 💖

This is exactly it. The code of conduct of the pledge should be everyone's baseline for being a decent person, let alone creator. The real issue is how some of the big names are conducting themselves or otherwise remaining silent while people are being harassed and doxed.
