Thanks for all of the kind words about MinnMax's revealing interview with Ready at Dawn's co-founder. youtu.be/g7t6Wo2IcU8 This is what the backend looks like for an interview that spawned news stories on every major gaming site. Independent games media only exists by support on Patreon.

Ginza Bartender: In Japan, we prefer to use fresh tomatoes only, almost a gazpacho, no concentrated mixes or blends for Bloody Marys. Me: It's too pure a life. Do you have Clamato? Bartender: *Acquiescing* Yes...we can make you a Caesar so you feel like you're at one of your municipal airports.

Just checking in to make sure nobody got traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

Howdy Don, Howdy David 💔 youtu.be/iwytKykXbpM?...

Me trying to explain a cat to the aliens. It's like the nose and mouth of a mouse combined with the face and demeanor of a dragon, especially the eyes. Pretty good chimera.

Sad to see Children of the Sun not pop up more on EOY 2024 lists. While the game might not scream "best games" material (although the visuals are very much screaming) it's highly original core mechanic (you play as the bullet) I think did a lot to breathe new air into the crowded FPS genre.

Like Daniel Craig, middle-aged Loewe fan (minus resources).

Just realized that the slowed down + reverb Sabrina Carpenter Espresso song could very well double as a Haircuts for Men banger.

Hoping if I write this here it will somehow come to fruition. I'm looking to start a Tokyo Gaming Discussion Club called...(14 years of copywriting later) the Tokyo Gaming Discussion Club > TGDC! Focus would be more on game discussion vs game dev (a la IRL MinnMax, Triple Click). Anyone interested?

Not sure if my left eye has been twitching the last few days due to: lack of sleep, stress, or the blinding shine of Geoff Keighley's bedazzled Game Awards lapel.

Alright, here's my 2024 Game Awards, games being that I played this year, regardless of the actual year they came out. Top 5: Pizza Tower, Immortality, Jusant, Metaphor: ReFantazioYouCANnotADVAN3CE, Titanfall 2 (single-player story). 2024 GOTY: Jusant > From a sensory experience of controls.

The fact that FFXVI is releasing on Steam, playable on the Steam Deck, and simaltenously with an optimized PS5 Pro version, is a testament to the crazy times we’re living in for gaming.

It's that annual once-a-year where I wonder if any one person has every single UMD movie released for PSP. For science, of course.

If we all live in a simulation nobody spends enough time talking about how good the water graphics are.

Starting up a whole new date and time short-form platform again, I can't help but thinking On Kawara did it first and best.
