#NW A movie whose sequel is breaking box office records as we speak.

Remember when Cleveland owned a deli on Family Guy?

The gamble paid off.

“The new Shrek models look awful!” I think they look fine, but I won’t complain if you don’t like them. “Yeah, they look AI generated!” Aaaand you can fuck off forever.

Fiona and Shrek imitated Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire's MJ and Spider-Man kiss in Shrek 2 and now the current MJ is voicing their daughter. Kind of full circle?

Shrek’s sons will show up, right? Right?

Gotta get used to these tweaked designs.

Happy #PokemonDay!

Genuinely shocking.

The Bad Guys 2 is rated PG.

The worst people you know are going to be celebrating and acting like they had a role in this. But no matter what their delusions make them believe, Kennedy has had quite the prestigious career as a producer, often with Spielberg, of some of the most beloved films ever made.

They deserved better movies

It’d be cool if, for #Pokémon’s 30th next year, we get an updated American equivalent of this Blu-ray collection, with all 23 movies together. It’s more likely now that the four Miramax-released movies are back under TPCI’s control outside Japan.

Under 11 miles. Getting closer.

Bringing some film reels back to the shelves, the boxes they’re in look like pizza boxes.

Morning.

Age yourself with a movie you saw in the theater.

Ooh! Maybe that YouTube channel could eventually drop more than just classic episodes of the show! The only thing I can think of that’s standing in the way is possible red tape we don’t know about (like how missing paperwork is keeping the Sonic OVA unavailable outside Japan).

It’s annoying how there is so much extra Pokémon stuff that 4Kids dubbed (Mewtwo Returns, Chronicles, Pikachu shorts) that just isn’t available anymore. I know a franchise like Pokémon focuses more on newer stuff, but still.

Misty and Brock: “This water tastes amazing!” Ash: “…it’s okay, I guess.” Misty and Brock: “YOU UNCULTURED SWINUB!”

On Final Destination 4. In this one the lead has premonitions of how the survivors end up dying. I swear in one of them, they play a Tom and Jerry scream. Like, you literally hear William Hanna as Tom screaming, out of nowhere, just because.

TMNT III, but with the Jim Henson costumes. Now, there’s a “what-if”.

The closest theater near me that’s playing The Day the Earth Blew Up is 16 miles away. Yesterday it was 31 miles away. Hopefully the distance shrinks as the release date gets closer.

4Kids was going to lose the Pokémon rights no matter what, but I wonder what it would've been like if they were able to at least finish the Battle Frontier and dub the Manaphy movie. Definitely would've been different from what we got.

A drastic departure from Nickelodeon's usual programs. And it paid off tremendously.

#NW The Oscar-Nominated Cat Movie

Just took a gamble. Previous versions of this Australian set wound up being region-free, so hopefully this new reissue is too.

hey why the hell can't I buy Nimona on Blu-Ray yet

Getting a footlong sub, eating half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day 👍🏻

Looks like Fandango at Home will have a Paddington 3-Movie Bundle, which is neat, considering the domestic rights are split up.

We set up Netflix for my grandparents last week. Two of the movies my grandpa’s watched so far include The Irishman and Kinda Pregnant.

Imagine my surprise at Spyglass Media getting an “in association with” credit.

Trailers before Paddington in Peru: The Chosen: Last Supper (Fathom) No Address (Fathom) Smurfs The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (new trailer) The Unbreakable Boy The Bad Guys 2 A Minecraft Movie Snow White Karate Kid: Legends

About to see Paddington in Peru. I saw Paddington 2 in theaters but not the first. Figures, the one I didn’t see in theaters is the one the Weinsteins had a hand in.

June 1999, so Beyond Blunderdome, that September.

Meet the Quagmires is peak Family Guy

The Room of superhero movies, MADAME WEB, was released one year ago today. This movie has spawned so many running jokes from its ridiculous dialogue, hilariously bad ADR, and Pepsi product placement galore. He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.
