Every time I feel like I've overcome my pedantic impulses & embraced the fact that language is descriptive & not prescriptive, I'm reminded that about 30% of the country is using words like "leftist" & "marxist" to refer to anyone who disagrees with them and I'm back to "WORDS HAVE MEANING PEOPLE!"
