Data is only useful if you set out with neutral intentions. If you set out trying to prove a theory or persuade people you’ve already made the decision to work from a place of bias Data is considered neutral but rarely ever used in a neutral way.

Overheard a woman with dual citizenship Canada/US state that she lives in BC for now but if Trump “does his 25% taxes” she’s going to live in America… People just don’t understand what any of this means do they? Fun story: in early 2022 one of the exercises a therapist had me do was to work on accepting that I’m intimidating to some people. I hated it 😆 I’ve always felt like I’ve worked hard to be like a 2 or 3 but I’ve been told otherwise so many times 😩
