Reffed an U8 game earlier this afternoon. Thankfully nobody tried to karate kick an opponent in the head as those are usually tricky ones to work out how to call.

A genuinely staggering first instance decision

The antics with Olsen were amongst the funniest thing I’ve ever seen at Selhurst.

Sarr’s chance had an xG of 0.17.

We’re going to play Brighton in the final

Watched ‘The Last Rider’ earlier - a fantastic biopic about Greg LeMond

Looking forward to the fake New Year countdown at 9pm when YouTube facilitates some necessary deception of a bunch of seven and four year olds.

Furious about Andy Street’s knighthood. I thought him losing the WMM election would spare me witty text messages about my political career for some time.

The Joao Pedro decision was mystifying. Law 12 clearly encompasses something of that type (violent swing and miss)

Still better than Gavin and Stacey

A night full of wonderful CPFC faces, some hope, and then some disappointment. Typical Palace!

A Charlie Brown Christmas 🙌🏻

Last night: often sloppy and slow in possession, particularly (and frustratingly) through transitions, which is largely due to personnel and form. However, the defensive shape is really solid and we’re now learning to edge some of the small margins in important games. That should see us safe.

This has 65th minute Ipswich penalty written all over it.

My take on the match on Saturday was that Palace were ok, but not much more than that. At times it was fairly insipid and slow and the Munoz first half miss skewed the overall xG. We simply cannot afford to continue being so profligate and slow in build up, particularly against a low block.
