What School Phone Bans Are Missing! While my focus is on Adult ADHD, a recent study on the "Ban Phones at School" fad caught my interest because it supports (in part) an argument I made to clinicians 2 years back (and was rebuffed). Teach responsible use - stop prohibition.

An interesting study on Jung’s work supports the idea that ADHD is not a current fad, and may have been recognized as early as 1904 as Jung’s “manic mood”. I'm blocked by certain ADHD Professional naysayers on X, but one wonders if this would even cross their radar 🤔

In SA we've mocked our Youth League for their max age of 35, turns out it is rather young given that an ADHD brain study is looking for young adults aged 18 - 40! Guess at 52 I'm almost middle-aged. On the other hand, if you're in the US its a free advertisement.

The US is winning the race - U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), last week said this: “When you and I were growing up, our parents didn’t use a drug, they used a belt and whipped our butt… Nowadays, we give them Adderall and Ritalin. They are like candy across college and high school campuses.”
