What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders? The deep ocean around Antarctica in winter is much warmer than the surface which is at near freezing temperatures (of about -2 deg C).

The richest 1% account for as much emissions as the poorest 66%. Climate action has to be about justice and fairness!
