The new NATO stance will be 5% of GDP. Whether you agree with that or not, that's what it is. Why then does Spain feel it can call on other NATO members and their 5% spending when needed, but only put half that in themselves? If 5% is the figure, either pay that or leave. Your choice.

Wow

Surely people are concerned with Musk consistently launching rockets before they are clearly ready, on the off chance one actually works.

How did the US get from people arrested for trying to overthrow the government, to those same people suing for millions because of it?

news.sky.com/story/donald... I am enjoying these to turning on each other. Hopefully they will burn each other to the ground.

news.sky.com/story/no-dou... So 3% at some point in the next decade and then how many years to see the output in equipment or training? Either our country is in a bigger mess than we know, or the government isn't taking Russia seriously. It will be mid-30s before we see the benefit of any increase

news.sky.com/story/elon-m... Claims he can save $2tn. Gets into power and downgrades that claim immediately to $1tn. Then decimates the government while claiming to have saved only $150bn, which is widely disputed. Yes Musk is definitely the saviour of the world. What a joke of a person.

news.sky.com/story/ukrain... Completely the right thing for Zelensky to say. But unfortunately Trump will react poorly to it.

BBC News - Tommy Robinson charged with harassment www.bbc.com/news/article... What a shame. Apparently being an arsehole repeatedly, has implications

What has Trump achieved with the Russia/Ukraine war? Failed to resolve in a day. Failed to resolve in 100 days. Emboldened Putin, belittled Zelensky. Weakened Ukraine while strengthening Russia. He has been played like a fiddle by Putin and his response - walk away and screw Ukraine over again.

Reform voters don't care about facts, when they have exciting opinions to listen to.

news.sky.com/story/have-t... Standard Trump. Putin plays him like a fiddle for months, stringing him along and zero pressure or comment. The smallest of indications of any barrier from Ukraine, and he looses his shit. But no, definitely not in lockstep with Putin.

Ah. Proper scrutiny.

This will NEVER get old‼️🤣🤣🤣

For the sake of clarity... No, the UK government is not going to "dim the sun" to tackle climate change UK climate minister Kerry McCarthy confirms there are no plans to deploy solar radiation management (aka solar geoengineering) questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-ques...

Trump demanded $350bn in minerals as payment for previous aid. In a manner that costs lives, destroyed relationships and benefited Russia. The final deal signed could have been agreed months ago by a toddler, without any of the damage that had been caused. And this is the way to do a deal?

news.sky.com/story/teslas... What would Musk do if as part of DOGE, a department head, through their behaviour had allowed costs to skyrocket? He would be gone. But of course normal rules don't apply to him and his kin.

53 ❗️

BBC News - Laurence Fox denies sharing upskirting image of TV star www.bbc.com/news/article... What is it with this right wing MAGA supporters and sex crimes? Assume this is the matrix out to get him?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cv... Noticeable difference between what the US (and Russia) want, and what Ukraine and Europe want. I know which is the right option, and it's not Trump's.

Spot the problem?

news.sky.com/story/chance... Long list of rules and regulations to protect the UK - from high food standards, to protecting our children. And these are the elements holding up a trade deal with the US. Why are we not focusing on trade with the EU?

Musk makes his big claim of being able to save $2tn. Now he's looking at stepping away after barely getting to $150bn. That's 7.5% of his target. And people trust him? The damage he has done to US eclipses that figure. Exactly the same as Trump, big populist claim that he then backpedals on.

news.sky.com/story/ukrain... I thought Trump would have this sorted in 24hrs? Even after giving Putin everything he wants while punishing Ukraine, he still can't get a cease fire.

Trump has repeatedly claimed the US have given $300bn in aid to Ukraine that it wants back. That was a massively inflated figure. Now Trump has changed that figure to $100bn. Trump knew all along what the correct amount was, but deliberately pushed an incorrect figure. Why was that I wonder?

news.sky.com/story/ukrain... So Russia kills a load of Ukrainians. Trump supports Putin and says it was a mistake. Then attacks Zelensky instead. Surely everyone must see he is aligned with Putin, a clear war criminal who in the future will be discussed in the same breath as Stalin.

news.sky.com/story/presid... I've had a lot of respect for how Poland have managed the war in Ukraine, but this is really disappointing. Can only hope this is designed to strengthen relations with the US, rather than being actually believed

news.sky.com/story/tariff... Hmm, did Trump and his allies commit a bit of insider trading? I wonder. Clearly yes. Clearly he doesn't care and neither will his fans as they aren't able to comprehend why insider trading is bad. And no, nothing will happen.
