Ewwww. Between keeping up a picture of Mein Kampf to a Hogwarts house in the bio, to the shit ass response to being called out, 🤢. It’s interesting how people don’t think posting something means supporting it. Why are you posting it? If you don’t want to be called a cow, quit dressing like a cow.

Yesssssss #booksky

My thoughts while reading Iron Flame have been: Violet is being dumb. Damn, that’s hot. Cringe. Violet is being dumb for way too much of this book. Why is this book so long?

Every time I see Floridian politicians tweet some dumb ass shit, I get the urge to verbally abuse them. They are pathetic, cracked, overflowing toilets for Donald Trumps regurgitated diarrhea. They and everyone who voted for them are an embarrassment.

I don’t get a lot of tattoos that mean something to me, but the one I scheduled for June has been being planned for 8 years and is in honor of my big brother, who passed in 2017.

The Route of Ice and Salt is a retelling of Draculas ship voyage. It is extremely h*rny and queer.

My Barnes and Noble says Sunrise on the Reaping is in stock. They have a Hunger Games table inside the door that doesn’t include it. No table does. Checked YA and it isn’t there. B&N, why do you hide the books?

This may be the most depressing book I’ve ever read. Sometimes life is like that, though

I’m reading No Place to Bury the Dead by Karina Sainz Borgo and it’s a difficult read. Like it’s good but it’s on my list for most disturbing books.

I misplaced my Kobo charger, but did find a dozen chargers that were similar, thus introducing me to the fact that not all chargers are data sharing cables. Thankfully, the final charger with a lightning bolt on it (that I for sure thought wouldn’t work) did work. 😮‍💨

Anyone else sit down to read and can’t concentrate only to realize you didn’t put music on in the background? My brain needs input from all angles at all times to stay quiet

Started reading Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong for book club and am immediately loving it. Needed a cozy little fantasy after Sunrise in the Reaping crushed my soul over the weekend 😆

Finished Sunrise on the Reaping and now I need to read something with some hope in it.

Just rewatched The Hunger Games, as I’m sure many are, and I don’t think it’ll matter how many times I watch them, Katniss screaming at Prims cat that she’s gone and never coming back will always break me. Anyways, I start Sunrise on the Reaping tomorrow.

5 stars for The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones. Audio narration was perfectly done. Story itself well paced and perfectly creepy and angry

I started listening to The Buffalo Hunter Hunter on Spotify yesterday. Made it 3o%. Set the app to sleep after the chapter. Apparently that didn’t work. I didn’t even remember falling asleep, woke up 71% in. Spotify only allows 15 hours a month 😩 gonna have to listen next month now

I stay out of cyclical drama because it’s exhausting. I do want to say, though, just to be 100% clear that pedophilia is not a book -trope-. Abusing children isn’t a -trope-. It’s not a quirky little thing to toss in. Fetishisizing a baby is a trigger warning. It’s not dark romance; it’s horror.

Have you ever wanted to read a book that makes you want to bite someone (not in a sexy way)? Blood on her Tongue is released 3.25.25 and I immediately need someone to scream to about it. #booksky #horrorbooks

Currently reading the ARC for Blood on her Tongue by Johanna Van Veen and it is evoking such a physical reaction in me. I am equally obsessed and disgusted.

I told my friends I feel like I’m in a rut both personally and professionally and somehow that translated to them giving me workout advice. I’m not sure how I got here…

I’m little free library hunting today and have a few that are my faves, so I always have to check them out. I saved my favorite one for last. As I pull up, there’s Trump signs around the box. How’re you supporting Little Free Library and any Republican? There’s some cognitive dissonance at work

Local bookshop fun yesterday at Wilson’s Book World in St Pete, FL and Oxford Exchange in Tampa #booksky

Today, I reported a coworker for saying a white passing native would be “one of Hitlers favorites”. And I was told this was the right path. So tell me why I’m sitting here gaslighting myself? Why am I telling myself -I- blew it out of proportion?

I am digging this book. A good look at different regimes around the world and throughout history. Also includes how several countries have challenged dictators.

Not bad, February #booksky

I was just informed by a lovely customer that receiving and unboxing our sapphic pirate bundle involves a lot of “gay squealing.” If that is of interest to you.

It’s storming and my dog is scared and acting a fool, so I put him in his crate. I feel so bad 😆 I’m repeating to myself that the crate is safe and dogs are den animals, but I feel bad he isn’t in bed with me and my other dog.

I’m halfway through a book and this whole time I was wondering why it felt like I was in the middle of the a story. Added to StoryGraph and it’s the second in a series. This is the second time I’ve done this in the last month.

Bought tickets for me and my kid to see Capt America tomorrow and now I’m filled with sadness it isn’t until tomorrow. Cap has always been my fave Avenger and I loved Sam’s journey to accepting he’d be the new Captain America.

Nothing like hating Black people, brown people, people with disabilities, veterans, fire safety, safe medical care, and independence. It’s all covered in yesterdays proposed bills in Congress

Found a civic engagement app that lets you email your reps/senators. Loved the convenience. Received an email from my rep essentially saying they don’t read those because “it may not actually be you”. So instead of the well worded app, they got an angry me today.

They can pry pride month out of my cold dead hands But in the meantime, I'm making every month from now until we are no longer the bad place a little more gay. Enjoy this, the first of many sales we will be doing to sprinkle rainbow dust on every holiday.

Looked through bills proposed yesterday by Congress and it feels like a good time for anyone who likes water, air, or wildlife to take an interest. Full texts aren’t up yet but will be interesting to see the rationale

To view female anger through a lens of hunger and in all ways this comes isn’t a new concept, but I think the author made it their own. She made it feral and hopeless and a little sexy, which I think is everything women need to explode into who they were meant to be.

Unsure if type exists? I like a happy man that can also smolder
