I'm going to push my 'Dante is a dweeb (non-derogatory/lovable)'-agenda further. Got to say it, if for whatever reason or context that Dante and Donte were to ever meet. Dante would legit think Donte was a cool guy, honest and with his whole chest. Which, would be absolutely crushing to Donte.

Actual authoritarian surveillance states are a mesh network of sorts. It is made up of agents at all levels from the state down to the micro interpersonal networks that permeate our lives. People are not at all experienced in survival in a true authoritarian information/survelliance state.
