Me, too. But usually, that's what I say right before I can't take it anymore and start churning out new art.

I'm pretty sure oil artists just want you to think that to feel better about themselves. It's basically just like acrylic, but smoother, and with more optional accessories and ingredients (my favorite is linseed oil, makes it glide on like melted butter). It just takes longer to dry.

I might try those next after I return these ones.
I HATE returning things with a burning passion- I'd rather cut my losses than stand in a noisy line at a UPS place - so believe me when I say these pencils are awful.

Thanks for reading, folks. This was done with a deck called Midnight Magic- A Tarot Deck of Mushrooms by Sara Richard. I found a link to where you can buy it here: www.blackcatmedina.com/product/midn...

One last thing: the Shadow card for this reading (the card that's on the bottom of the deck) is The Magician. What this tells me is that, even though it all seems like it's all going to hell, we've GOT THIS. Really. ->

I'm kind of getting "the real treasure is the friends we made along the way~" vibes here, which.... come on, at least give me a stupid T-shirt. But, whatever. Anyway, that's the message. Stick together, take care of each other, appreciate your loved ones, be nice. ->

I drew a clarifier card, asking, "so, how's it all wrap up? Do we get anything good out of this?" The answer: Six of Cups. The one good thing we've got, saccharine as it is, is each other. We get to learn to rely on each other and find community; it's the most important thing we have right now. ->

To which the answer, at least according to this reading right now, is: pick your battles, and don't spiral into unhealthy habits. It's all depressing af, but losing ourselves won't help anybody except the ones who want to see us fail. ->

Okay so I wasn't going to come out and say "this one's about the election" but yeah, I'm getting election vibes, there. We had a "bad ending," and now we're in Five of Cups land, asking ourselves, "sh**, what do we do now." ->

The World reversed is sort of a message of "we hoped it would be a good ending, but.... eh." Also, a hope that things would wrap up on a good note, but instead, the big, scary future is just getting started. "We didn't learn our lessons" - collectively. ->

You're facing a feeling of overall disappointment - if you're like me, and you read the news, you don't need a psychic to tell you that it feels like the world's letting you down. Literally - first card is The World in reverse, followed by the Five of Cups. ->

I pulled these cards with the intent of "show me the message that those who read this need to hear." So, if you're here: hi, this is for you. ->
