Not entirely clear why it's important to have a free press that isn't allowed to identify obvious lies

Everyone but the media and his cult hates this guy, they spent 4 years working overtime to make the general public forget this.

I think what this shows is that most people aren't actually anti-vax, they're just extremely obstinate about being asked to do anything even slightly inconvenient when they don't see an immediate benefit for themselves

I think if I had this much leverage I would demand more than "Let's reassert what the law already is." The demand should be to eject Elon and his teens from the government. They're enormously unpopular what's the problem

I’ll keep pushing this line of analysis because I’m increasingly convinced the clearest path out of this mess is for Dems to adopt a relentless anti-corruption, anti-inequality, anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy platform. The Dem leadership hasn’t realized it yet, but they’re now a reform party.

How could one think, after even the most casual and cursory look at who Trump is and what he’s done and said, that he was anything but a wrecking ball? Hope Bob now realizes the bigotry wasn’t worth it

Everything he does is the worst thing any president has ever done.

This is a time for bravery in the US Congress, maybe in ways you didn't get when you ran last year. If you can't do it, most can't. But you need to get out of the way. We need a class of Democratic candidates for Congress who can represent a people's front that will win.

Let him cook

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THESE PEOPLE?!?!

jesus christ, fuck you, man

Finishing Cobra Kai: I barely care at this point.

Here’s the thing though. Part of the reason there is a lot of anger about the way Democrats campaigned on the existential threat to democracy is that when they lost, they snapped RIGHT back to congenial rhetoric about bipartisanship and working with the Trump admin. You can’t have it both ways!

Dude is quoting Napoleon now. When do we get to the exile portion of the Napoleon timeline?

If I learned one thing from Roman history it's that senators, as a rule, are cowards.

Also, everyone need to make a collective decision to have the only reporting/media exposure of Elon’s kid to be commentary on what a dogshit father he is for dragging a kid that young into situations he has no business being in. My heart breaks for that kid.

Big week for The Horrors and I am pretty much just dissociating the moment, but one thing that was enjoyable about this week was that I finally watched Nobody Wants This and it was a total delight. So good in every way, I cannot wait for more and Willa from Succession is my Queen.

i never tell the truth about anything, not even videogames. i feel i am ugly so have undergone millions in plastic surgery. i use IVF to ensure my offspring are male. i do not interact with said offspring, except one, who i am trying to make into mini-me. it's me, the person with the best genetics.

hakeem jeffries' wife packing up to go stay at her parents because she asked him to wash the dishes and he stood in front of the sink throwing his hands in the air and saying "what can i do, the water isn't even on"

The USA has been taken over by a group of far-right extremists determined to impose their demented ideology on a country that very much does not want it. This is unfolding like a coup, and the opposition party is still not yet willing to treat it like one and fight back.

this is a good example of the attitude that has led democrats down the road to disaster. it rests on the belief that public opinion cannot be shaped or mobilized or moved, only reacted to
