I’ll keep pushing this line of analysis because I’m increasingly convinced the clearest path out of this mess is for Dems to adopt a relentless anti-corruption, anti-inequality, anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy platform. The Dem leadership hasn’t realized it yet, but they’re now a reform party.

Here’s the thing though. Part of the reason there is a lot of anger about the way Democrats campaigned on the existential threat to democracy is that when they lost, they snapped RIGHT back to congenial rhetoric about bipartisanship and working with the Trump admin. You can’t have it both ways!
