I watched the Hudsucker Proxy this morning (which was delightful) and then tried watching Before the Devil Knows Your Dead… I couldn’t get past 30 minutes. The premise could be intriguing but I couldn’t sink into it at all. Not sure if I’ll go back to it

Yesterdays @blankcheck.bsky.social pod on Inland Empire was so good. Hearing David Rees exhibits and experiences with the movie was refreshing for what I felt was a super dense movie. The discussion helped me understand a lot more, someday a second watch will be very fulfilling.
