As a cishet dude, when I see a Dem ditch trans rights, it sends a message: you ain't got no fight in you, no principles, just another empty suit. Think I'm some too-online outlier? Go ask your expensive consultants why people don't bother to vote. It's because they know you're all empty suits.

I'm obviously not a Democratic consultant, but I think the only good strategy is: identify who exactly their base is; focus on policies that excite that base; craft messaging that connects those policies to the hopes and desires of the greater electorate.

I know trump just says things and doesn't understand the topic one iota but it's telling he's describing increased enforcement of AML and KYC requirements "corrupt attacks." Especially when you realize the post was an insider trading gambit: $SOL, $XRP and $ADA spiking immediately after it went out

When I saw that request of Twitter devs it baffled me since there’s an absolute certainty they have jira boards explicitly detailing every team’s progress, and charts going back years showing velocity, burndown rate, etc, not to mention demos and product meetings

For me it’s thing if folks are like “dang I was lied to, I’m sorry, let’s make this better.” A different thing if they’re like “why should I pay a fraction of a penny for someone else’s trees”

No, this is the most ashamed you've felt as an American *so far*.

You never enter into negotiations without some sense of how your position will be taken by the other side. The idea that this wasn’t premeditated is absurd on its face

Republicans will repeatedly spend a million dollars in order to save a penny once

everyone seeing how when you takeaway the DEI the planes start falling out of the sky

Oh, so against monopolies, against restrictions to abortion, vehemently in favor of trans rights… oh wait no? That’s not what he means? 🤔

If the data doesn't lie then why have they been putting out so many false or misleading claims about what they've "discovered?" If it's not the data lying who does that leave us with?

What’s missing in this article is that Harris ran on increased border enforcement and it fizzled. Biden deported more people than trump did (and has larger monthly deportation numbers than trump currently) and it didn’t move the needle. Trump actively campaigned against the border bill and it worked

“We’ve tried nothing, and we’re all out of ideas!”

This is actually a very frustrating situation for developers starting w/o a whole framework and should have been solved already tbh. Back in the day we used SSI (server-side includes) but I always assumed this would be part of browsers by now httpd.apache.org/docs/current...

The hops in beer contain phytoestrogens

I use LLMs in my everyday work, and with my level of professional experience and knowledge I can broadly claim to have expertise in my field. I'd say that there hasn't been a single time I've looked at a generated response and thought it was 100% correct. But without my background I'd never know.

We could have saved greater than an order of magnitude more by just returning to the 2016 tax structure for the > 1% and not have had to deal with an understaffed FAA and multiple aviation disasters for example

Now if it were me running into a query result suggesting the number of active beneficiaries exceeded the US population, the first thing I'd do is check how many payments were actually sent, and if it was less than the total US population I'd know I had miscalculated. Just basic "measure twice" stuff

it's that time of year again

Guess they should have used sql 😂

VP Harris campaigned with *Liz Cheney* 🤦🏻‍♂️ garbage poll

I’m sure a thousand people already made this observation but there’s something thematically apt about the administration renaming something from “Liberty” to “brag”

Oh jfc 🤦🏻‍♂️

Came into the room and found her watching fox news 🤦🏻‍♂️

Republicans won a complete sweep after four years of relentlessly saying "let's go Brandon" when the meme was already stale two days after it started

Akira Toriyama and his son Sasuke playing Dragon Quest on a Sony Trinitron KV-20XBR.

If they were even decent coders they’d be using version control and this would be unnecessary 🤔

Folks frame this strat as distraction but it isn't. Distraction is a credible feint in one area that triggers a strong response, while the real attack is against an under-defended flank. What's happening here is more a Zerg rush of bullshit, where everything is real but weak and only some hit target

Preventing numerical hashtags is common on social media in order to prevent tagging things like "I'm #1" etc

Just realised that "Gene Hackman" is the exact name that Hideo Kojima would give a biochemist

This is just saying they’ll last at the whim of the president, and considering we’re still holding on to tariffs from the previous trump administration six years later, it’s a distinction without a difference

Fellow NSA - National Security Agency veterans. Look at what’s happened at the National Cryptologic Museum. They covered up with brown paper the photos of Women in American Cryptology. All in response to President Trump’s anti-diversity executive order.

The one time in their lives they could stand to be next to each other 😭

When Biden was in office they claimed their values compelled them to stop having partnerships with the US government and that doing so in the first place was a mistake

The clearer story is that trump had to start a pointless trade war in order to get the same cooperation as the US did under President Biden

“Imagine a world that preemptively blocked any potential for personal growth”

I'm old enough to remember when the media called the Obamas dapping a "terrorist fist-jab"
