As the query rejections come pouring in, or nothing happens at all, it can be a little, depressing. I know the story is good, the beta readers have all agreed it is. All you can do is keep trying, keep writing and one day it will happen! if I keep saying it then it will be true right?

I have now submitted my first novel to 22 agents. It is a marathon and I doubt any will pick up a first novel but, it is a process and one I need to go through. I remain hopeful but otherwise will carry on writing my next WIP which makes me smile with every sentence.

Reached 42k words in my comedy fantasy. Trying not to think about the fact that it is mostly bad puns, after all, wasn't it once said: "If puns be the food of life, stuff your face."? I'm sure that was the quote. Only 60k (ish) words to go and yes, I am a very slow writer.
