He did this also when fans were calling for Lamar to be benched for Flacco. Not allowing coaches and players to grow through adversity just stunts their growth. It doesn't mean he won't be wrong sometimes because of it, but you have to give people time to figure it out.

Mahomes doesn't have the numbers this year but the Chiefs Offense has mastered the art of driving up the field. Reminds me of Peyton's offenses where they weren't flashy but you couldn't stop them. He also seems gameplan proof, he literally adjusts on the fly.

One of the underrated aspects of Harbaugh is how he allows players and coaches to grow. It's hard in an industry that expects instant gratification and with how fans act. First Mike Mac now Orr. Allowed them to figure it out under fire and now reaping the benefits.
