I refer to growing up in the acid rain/ quicksand/impending nuclear conflict era as being "classically trained" in generalized anxiety

The fact that they wanna give Luigi the death penalty for shooting ONE guy. Just because the guy he allegedly killed had a lot of money. Why are we allowing this shit??

I just heard some kids playing outside for what feels like the first time in a while. It's nice to know some kids are still having normal childhoods

"We can't do the right thing in case it energises the far right and they cease power." No. I'm sorry to tell you, but if you're making huge national decisions based on what might upset them, then they already have.

Okay so motion sickness is the worst sensory feeling ive had in my life. Like not only am I nauseous but I have to have the autism discomfort on TOP of that???

Happy #TDOV !! Seems like a good time to share this comic I made 2 years ago for my 6 years on T anniversary! 🩵🩷🤍 [1/3] #comics

There is no “novel legal theory” about a third term, as some reporters are parroting. It’s not legal, and the idea of seizing permanent power isn’t a “theory,” it’s just what dictators do.

Ok one more pic but this time with two amazing women ❤️❤️🏳️‍⚧️ #tdov Shirts by @steviesafespaces.com

one of my favorite studio ghibli pieces that i made with my two hands

If she was that confident, she wouldn’t object to due process.

Trans rights are human rights. No exceptions.

If you think it’ll stop at Columbia and Harvard, you’re wrong. If you think it won’t go beyond universities to infiltrate all schools, you’re wrong. If you think it won’t demand compliance at media, medical, and non-profit organizations, you’re wrong. Fascism is here. Fight it.

Good morning #CatsOfBluesky I hope you have a fantastic #CatboxSunday

1. The Social Security Administration and DOGE are GASLIGHTING AMERICANS. They are telling millions of beneficiaries that reports they were closing SSA field offices were fake news. Actually, these closures were PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED and LEASES WERE CANCELED. 🧵

Ignore the third term talk - it’s meant to distract you, and it’s working. “No person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”

The abuser’s classic playbook is to isolate you from your friends, create a sense of helplessness, make it difficult to connect with others and force you to simply think about your survival from one day to the next. We are seeing that playbook applied to the nation as a whole.

HAPPY TRANSGENDER DAY!!!!!

It's pretty wild up to see artists using AI voiceover for their content and musicisns using AI images for their flyers and even release covers. Then they complain they don't get enough support. Fuck off.

Abolish ICE is not an absurdity statement. ICE was created in 2003 as a response to 9/11 - we do not need it. We already established that following orders isn't an excuse.

The White House Correspondents’ Association said it fired host Amber Ruffin so it can instead focus the dinner on celebrating the First Amendment. Which apparently can be done best by preventing a gay black woman from speaking.

Keir Starmer said yesterday: “Labour is the party of work. We shouldn’t shrug our shoulders as millions are unable to work.” Stop creating a false binary. Clinician here: cutting £5–6k from disabled people isn’t help—it’s wilful abandonment and many will die. #WelfareNotWorkfare

It’s not that complicated.

Keep getting replies to posts about US government reversals in litigation along the lines of “what is the point if US government refuses to comply”. The thing is the US government is complying (or insisting that it is complying) with court orders. They just don’t want to admit this loudly.

Equal rights for all, means equal rights for all. Not equal* rights for all. Conditional equality is not equality. Conditional freedom is not freedom.

The white ruling class has ALWAYS used prison labor to their financial advantage after slavery.

Discrimination against autistic people "contravenes the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities & the Sustainable Development Goals’ commitment to leave no one behind. It must change." So says The United Nations re: the upcoming World Autism Day, April 2. press.un.org/en/2025/sgsm...

There is no moral equivalence between bullies and the bullied, between tyranny and democracy, or between brutality and decency. No individual can be free in a society devoid of justice. There can be no liberty where brutality reigns.

A tragedy is unfolding in the United States with shocking rapidity. Academic freedom, judicial independence, investigative journalism and civil society are dying. The lifeblood of a culture is draining away and the spirit of a nation is evaporating. The American Dream is gone.

A message to accessibility practitioners trying to distance themselves from DEI: - that is not going to protect accessibility from this regime - DEI and accessibility have always been linked, systemically accessibility must be intersectional to be truly effective.

'Daisy' comes from the Old English for 'day's eye' as the flowers open during the day and shut again at night.

It has long been legal to incarcerate and kill immigrants in this country without due process. It’s long been a bipartisan effort, that has just grown and grown. Yes prisons in El Salvador, and snatching people off the streets is a harrowing departure. But this didn’t come from nowhere.

When you’re chronically ill, your baseline is everything. The non disabled can’t possibly fathom the amount of time & energy that goes into maintaining what’s left of our health. It takes ages to make the tiniest gains, and only split seconds to lose them. Be kind. Respect our boundaries.

The difference between us and them is that they don't understand that us *is* them. Society is not a vacuum.

You don't see the word "trauma" more often than you used to because non-traumatic experiences are being exaggerated. You see it because survivors are increasingly able & willing to describe things that really happen, but our culture prefers to deny, rationalize, or minimize.

Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art. Keep making art.

Why didn't anyone tell me the bread at Panera BREAD sucked?

I laugh at his pain because I have empathy for other people.

Indiana congresswoman says, “You violated the law, you don’t get due process.” These are the same lawmakers who oppose Red Flag Laws because they don’t provide armed domestic abusers with … due process.

One of the coolest things you can do right now is commission a real artist.
